VTCM Indigo is a specialist team of guidance practitioners and support staff which provides a range of high quality career and educational guidance services for young people in more academically orientated schools and colleges. These schools and colleges may be independent, grammar or comprehensive.

VTCM Indigo has 3 main branches:

• UK schools and colleges with a more academic orientation. We help pupils/students with their decision-making in relation to AS/A level or International Baccalaureate subject options, higher education and career choices. Currently we provide services across schools in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Leicestershire.  

• International Schools – where we work to support pupils / students in their decision making about International Baccalaureate subjects, higher education and career choice in the UK and internationally.

• European Schools – we currently hold the contract (until 2012) with the Department of Children Schools and Families to deliver career and educational guidance to British pupils and students in the eleven designated European Schools. These people study for the European Baccalaureate and generally aspire to higher education in the UK or elsewhere in Europe

Our aim is to provide competitively priced guidance and information services which enhance existing provision and which mesh well with but do not overlap with already established career related work in the school. We aim to complement work already delivered by school staff or by the local Connexions service or other providers.

Our career consultants are professionally qualified in guidance and experienced in working with the client group whom we aim to serve. They have experience of working with students who hold, or are aiming to gain, a wide variety of qualifications including GCSEs, IGCSEs AS and A levels as well as the International Baccalaureate and European Baccalaureate.

VTCM Indigo advisers are empathetic in their approach and, in this way, able to quickly establish a situation whereby students feel relaxed with them and yet are respectful of our professional competence and knowledge. They are also flexible, blending in well with school staff and building good relationships with parents.
